Mehmet is the General Manager of LIBERTY Steel Group Türkiye, overseeing operations and driving growth in the local market. With decades of experience in the steel industry, he plays a pivotal role in managing LIBERTY’s presence in Türkiye.

In addition to his leadership at LIBERTY, Mehmet has a strong entrepreneurial background, having founded and managed Uluslararasi Metal Insaat Kimya San LTD, specialising in steel scrap and product trade for nearly 30 years, established-grew & sold entities such Prokan AS and Delta Mining AS. He has also invested in hospitality and real estate, owning Nabu Hotel and BSM Gayrimenkul A.S.
